After hitting an all-time high last week, the price of Bitcoin continues to plunge.
Down to just over 45-thousand U.S. dollars Tuesday… after reaching 58-thousand dollars on Sunday.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen repeated her warning that the digital token is a “highly speculative asset”, and called it “extremely inefficient.”
South Korea’s central banker also pointed out there is “no intrinsic value” in cryptocurrencies.
Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, tweeted a few days ago that he thought the price of Bitcoin seemed high.
