Japan is reportedly cautious about filing litigation with the International Court of Justice against Seoul over its latest compensation ruling related to the Korean victims of Japan’s wartime sexual slavery.
Kyodo News Agency reports that Japanese government officials are not certain things would proceed well for them.
Tokyo has taken the stance that South Korea and Japan agreed in 2015 to end the so-called “comfort women” issue “finally and irreversibly”.
