The U.S. Commerce Department has issued interim rules in a bid to secure the communication and technology supply chain.
In a statement released on Thursday,… the commerce department says the rule will prohibit certain transactions with Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, Venezuela and Cuba.
The rule takes effect in 60 days.
In May 2019,… President Trump signed an executive order to the protection of U.S. ICT,… and ordered the department to establish an implementation plan.
