About Danny Han

Danny Han is a visionary entrepreneur with a goal of ‘Growing all together!’ He never wants to be #1, rather he wants to be ‘the ONLY ONE’ by differentiating himself from the other normal people.

 

He was born in a lovely family with parents and an elder sister in a beautiful seaside city, Busan from South Korea. 

 

His first life adventure started when he decided to leave his country to live and study alone in Costa Rica, Central America which took 33 hours by plane from South Korea. The little teenager boy with only 15 years old had to deal with immigration department, lawyers, landlords, school and even his own life when he was suffering from Asian financial crisis in 1997. Without coming back to Korea or his parents visiting Costa Rica for 26 months, he learned how to live independent, strong and live with other people together.

 

His parents always told him, ‘Don’t study for yourself, but study to share with others.’

 

In 2002, right after serving as a volunteer for 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan, he joined Korean Army as a language specialist soldier. He not only served in Special Forces brigade in Korea, but also spent 6 months in Afghanistan for the reconstruction of the country during the war, remembering that Korea also suffered from war but recovered fast with the help of the coalition countries. Being the commander’s interpreter, he learned how to assist the leader for 24/7 in order to accomplish the mission and come back home safely.

 

Graduating from Sogang University with bachelor of business administration, he first started his professional career as a sales representative in Sun Microsystems(now Oracle). In his first year, he has been awarded as Sun Rise, which was the highest recognition of performance from global HQ and was invited to the Sun Rise award event held in Hawaii, USA. Later he successfully transferred to partner sales manager and finished as a APAC partner business manager in Sun Microsystems. 

 

His partnership skill continued in his second career in CIGNA, one of the top global insurance companies. He performed even much better with the collaboration with many companies in finance, retail, digital industries where he also got insights of many different business models.

 

As a global citizen, Danny Han didn’t want to limit his capability in the small country, but wanted to be more global with better LIFE & WORK balance, deciding to study in one of the most prestigious global business schools in Spain. 

 

After finishing his MBA at IE Business School, he joined LINE, one of the most innovative mobile service companies in the world as a business development manager. 

 

In 2015, he joined Mobusi, as a country manager for Korea, pioneering the new market for the company. Later he was promoted to APAC director mainly focusing on the big 3 markets such as China, Japan and Korea. He started his team alone but later his team became second biggest revenue source for the company just right after Spain HQ team. After 3 years of hard working, he left the company to start his own business.

 

In 2018, he founded DIOKOS, a global mobile advertising company with the philosophy of ‘WE GROW TOGETHER’, not just limiting himself to Asian market, but a global business leader who is the bridge between EU and Asia. His daily conversations with clients and partners include many different time zones such as EU, Israel, India, Mexico, China, Japan, Korea, LATAM, and so on.
 

He also has NURIBADA, a premium travel agency serving for corporate clients for their MICE and VVIP business travel to Spain. 

 

He enjoys writing articles for his SpainAgain, a Spanish Lifestyle Magazine, and Gametoc, one of the most influential game newspapers in Korea. His life stories have been introduced by many media since his 20s having created HINDSIGHT, a free tutoring volunteer community in Korea, and his interesting life story in Spain has been introduced in the main page of NAVER, #1 internet portal which has the highest number of visitors everyday. 

 

He spends most of his time with his beautiful wife and lovely daughter. He sometimes goes swimming, or takes golf lessons. He also loves to take snap photos for Korean tourists visiting Spain. He doesn’t drink any alcohol nor smoke in order to stay healthy and control himself well to do many of his life activities. He always says that he is one of the most blessed persons because he always has luck and that is beyond his ability.
