If there’s a place were classic and modern collide with style and delicious dishes, no doubt that’d be La Rotonda, The Westin Palace Hotel’s restaurant.
As soon as you enter the place, you’ll be delighted about the luminosity of the space, that’s crowned with an enormous crystal dome of different contrasting colors, and decorated with grand pianos, paintings, and other rococo-like furniture that makes of it a very comfortable and refined place.
The menu offers breakfast for all tastes from continental to the spanish-traditional mediterranean. But the true jewel in the crown is the buffet breakfast: waffles, pancackes, cereals, toasts, bacon, eggs, churros, salmon, rice, miso soup, milk and even champagne. A mixture of textures and tastes from different parts of the globe that fit the diversity of its clients.
The service is faultless, there’ll be no instant in which you feel disregarded and the relation quality-price is reasonable.
Plus, if you’re lucky, you might find well-known personalities of the spanish elite such as soccer team Real Madrid’s president Florentino Pérez.
